Were there today, french fries weren't through. The mountain cheese was missing on the mountain burger, the coleslaw was very runny and it was more sauce than salad and you could tell that it was ready-made. We were waiting for our meal and only when it was ready we were told that the card machine was broken, then we could go to another bank and pay an additional 5 euros for the cash withdrawal. A pity

I was there today with my husband and our three children. I can only recommend it! Had the John Doe Schnitzel, it was really awesome. The ambience was really cool and the staff was very nice. Definitely come more often!

Had dinner there with my husband and son tonight, and what can I say five stars out of five. All three of us loved our meal, the steaks were great. Above all, the service was super nice and friendly. We'll definitely be back 👍

Had a wedding on Tuesday, everything was great 👍👍👍, the boss was super nice, the food was really delicious, the service was very nice. If I could I would give 10 instead of 5 stars, keep it up 👍👍👍👍👍👍 and the baptism four years ago was also super great

I went shopping today, laid 10 fresh eggs from this morning, rosemary-garlic and chilli oil and homemade jam. What more do you want? That's it, good food and natural products and you know where it comes from.

Was there last night, there were two of us. Rating food: Was OK, but not the burner now. Meat from my burger was a bit dry, and the lower half of the bun stuck to the plate, so eating like a burger out of your hands was not possible. Service: The service was very helpful. However, this was totally overwhelmed because she was alone. This is where savings are made at the wrong end. Especially since the waitress not only had to serve, but also had to tap the drinks himself. Our order for the meal was only taken after 40 minutes and then only served after another 55 minutes. It's way too long! We also had to wait more than half an hour for the payment, as one of the waitresses had to do the service, prepare drinks and serve food. Location: Much too loud. Toilets were marginal, paper towels were empty, nothing was refilled for over 2 hours when we were there.

The food, service and prices used to be great. Been there today and last time. Prices have increased. Thought ok, due to Corona. Waited 70 minutes for food. Taste was well. E.g. the fries at McD. taste even better. Was last visit.

We are incredibly disappointed. We have been there as a guest very often. The last time we were very disappointed due to the lack of service and - not overly - hours of waiting. However, we thought "can happen". So we went there to visit again after a long time. We were "greeted" by the cook. His greeting was grumpy and very unfriendly. He rudely "ordered" me to keep my dog ​​on the leash for a shorter time because he was wearing his cooking clothes. My dog ​​was still a good 1m away from him. But understandingly I made it a little shorter, as desired. Here is my question "what is the cook doing with his kitchen clothes outside of the kitchen?" -> HYGIENE ??? When we sat down at a table the waiting time began. Waited forever for someone to bring the menu, waited forever for someone to bring the drinks. I have to add that it has not yet been operated. Then came the food, the taste has got terribly worse. It's really a shame how this restaurant has deteriorated. I thought about writing this recession for a long time, but maybe it will make the team reconsider their "new and really miserable concept".

Portions are huge and they taste great. The interior is great and very authentic, matching the “ranch”. Parking spaces directly at the restaurant are limited, but you can park at the nearby Netto car park.

Great ambience, nice and friendly service. Great food. We will come back anytime.

Very good food, very good service! Always worth a visit! Tip for parents: There is a great play room for the little ones that can be seen and even board games for the not so little ones. A quiet meal is possible here! I can only recommend it!

The service came to the table after 30 minutes and the drinks were only available after 40 minutes. Generally long waiting times, also for the food. Beer selected - supposedly not on the menu. Side dish selected - unfortunately not possible either. Tables from other guests are not cleared. Overall deterioration over the years ...

The Connor Ranch is clearly worth a recommendation. The food is freshly prepared and very tasty. The portions are more than generous. There are only five stars because no six can be awarded.

Food great, atmosphere very nice. The western theme goes really well, right down to country music. The child-friendliness is particularly positive, from the funny, imaginative children's menu to the children's playroom. The only point of criticism during our visit was the very long waiting time for service and food despite the lack of activity.

I visited the Connor Ranch in Beckingen on 24.04.2019 – a Wednesday, advertised for its “big schnitzel buffet” daily offer. To start my review on a somewhat positive note I would like to state that the restaurant has a big parking lot which is most certainly a significant asset. The restaurant interior, although a bit too kitschy for my taste, combined with the nice country music actually gives the place a cozy flair. Having said this, I would like to point out the few drawbacks of the restaurant that – quite unfortunately – completely offset the good first impression for me: 1) to start with, the parking lot for the customers is behind the building but there seems not to be a direct access from the parking lot into the restaurant or, if there is, it must be hidden really good – despite my intensive efforts I could not find any (well, I actually found an access through the kitchen but I gathered this one was not for customers so not really worth it any further elaboration) and had to walk all around the building - in the heavy rain. 2) when I took my table at 5:12 p.m. (according to the restaurants leaflet, the schnitzel buffet was supposed to open at 5 o`clock) the buffet was largely empty, and the service personnel were still bringing out meals. 3) the buffet itself was amongst the top five smallest buffets that I have seen outside a B&B so far. Maybe I am spoiled by the buffets that I get in the US (e. g. in the Golden Corral, Sizzler) or even in the Chinese restaurants here in Germany but when I read that there is a “big schnitzel buffet” I expect to find more than just the two breaded schnitzel types (turkey and pork-based Cordon bleu) that were actually offered. 4) the schnitzels were hardly warm already at quarter past 5 p.m., when I put them on my plate (by the way, also cold). Apart from this, the breading was not crispy and there were no lemons at the buffet. 5) the French fries had cooled down into a huge square lump and I had to use forks to pray some fries loose. 6) the devilled eggs and the various sides, vegetables and salads were – to put it in a single word – indescribable. Apart from the weird mayonnaise-like taste of the devilled eggs´ filling, all they actually had no definitive taste. 7) of the dips offered, only the garlic dip had some recognizable taste, all others were just… well, "goo" is the first word that comes to mind… 8) for dessert one could choose between some kind of a fruit cocktail and white mouse. The fruit cocktail was somewhat sour, the mouse somewhat sweet. But again, no definitive taste. 9) to my greatest disappointment there weren’t any condiments at the tables. In terms of taste I can describe the food only as “taste neutral”. Furthermore, in my opinion this Wednesday buffet better suits the description “vegetarian” than “big schnitzel buffet”. For the sake of objectivity it must be noted that at the time of my visit the restaurant was looking for a chef and kitchen aid, as well as for service personnel. One could speculate that this accounts for the food`s complete lack of taste, as well as for the somewhat slow service. Nevertheless, as a customer I cannot justify the total waste of time and money, in which my visit to the Connor Ranch resulted, with missing personnel. The customer friendly solution of the restaurant`s current situation would have been to close down for a week or few and reopen only after the vacant positions have been appropriately staffed. My conclusion – I will never again step a foot in this restaurant. And if you are still curious and eager to get your own impression, better call in advance and ask if they are still looking for staff – if they are, you can as well spare yourself the trip.
